Install

Download KeepMirror from GitHub Releases and move it to Applications.

Grant camera access

Allow camera permission so the mirror preview can start.

Open mirror

Click the menu bar icon or use your global hotkey.

Capture

Tap preview or press Space. Configure format, countdown, and clipboard behavior in Settings.

Permissions

Minimal by design

KeepMirror asks only for what each feature needs.

Permission Why it is needed Without it
Camera Shows live mirror preview and enables photo capture. Mirror preview cannot run.
Microphone (optional) Powers live mic level meter when Mic Check is enabled. Mirror still works, but mic meter is unavailable.
Not required Accessibility, Input Monitoring, and Screen Recording are not used. No high-privilege input access needed.
